Seattle Shutters in Shepherds Bush

I just had RDJ install shutters in my whole house today. I had had 5 estimates before choosing this company who were recommended to me by neighbours. When Richard came round to give me an estimate, he noticed things about the configuration of my windows and walls and doors that none of the other companies seemed to notice and he knew exactly what was going to be required – advising me accordingly.

Today, any doubts I had had about having shutters were dispelled. They look wonderful. Richard and Brian are a perfect team and did a fabulous job. They were punctual, professional, genial, helpful and caring. My walls & floors & ceilings are not level at all, yet they worked out a solution for every obstacle. It was obvious that these two gentlemen are highly experienced in this work and it made me feel confident that I had made the right choice. They cleaned up as they went along and ensured that everything was in working order – including checking my telephone and broadband after they needed to move them, and re-positioning both in a much better place! An impressed neighbour has already enquired about them.

High Quality Shutters

Hi Richard,

Just wanted to say how pleased we are with the shutters. I was a little bit concerned that the rooms would be too dark but it’s the opposite, there is much more light in the rooms now.

As you know my husband is a builder and he was really pleased that they were fitted to a very high standard.

You are so efficient and the whole process from start to finish was excellent. Thank you to Nathan too who also done a really good job.

As one of your other customers said, after you left, you wouldn’t have known anyone had been there.

I would have no hesitation in recommending you in the future.

Bay Window Shutters Review

Richard supplied and fitted shutters to a bay window. He was extremely helpful in explaining all the design options and their pros and cons. He kept all appointments, and was easy to contact. He fitted the shutters very professionally.

The shutters are about one-third of the price of top-name branded shutters (eg Sanderson), and to me seem to be of a high quality. Richard explained that one Chinese supplier supplies most independent fitters of shutters such as himself, as well as many cheaper branded shutters. That explains the huge price differentials in the market-place, though I expect that fitting costs are also cheaper for an independent fitter.

Seattle Shutters in Bournemouth

I am delighted with RDJ Sutters. I was a bit nervous about parting with so much money – but – Richard has fitted them with attention to tiny detail. This is a Bed & Breakfast, so everything has to be ‘just right’. My guests are pleased to have such stylish window coverings.

Comments that they have made are: Oooooh! That’s posh! Wow! They look wondeful – where did you get them? It has certainly kept the sun out when I wanted to sleep. It feels quieter and warmer in here since the shutters arrived. The room looks bigger and brighter. It really is so nice to be able to let in light and/or air and still have privacy. No more laundry costs for curtains either – just a quick dust with a feather whatsit!

Thank you Richard for such excellent work. Your ‘Young Lad’ did a great job with the vacuum cleaner! Thank you! I didn’t have to clean up. Wonderful.

When I walked through the door last night all I could say as I walked around the house was WOW! WOW! WOW! The blinds are sensational, they make a huge difference to our home.

The blackout addition in the master bedroom cuts out all the light so we are in complete darkness which means I sleep better and longer.
